The original intention of the project was to integrate heavy guitar riffage with drum'n'bass beats, and various other styles and influences were experimented with on the way.

By far the most guitar-laden of Dave Skipper's albums, with a battering of riffs and blistering solos, plus plenty of space to breathe too via a smattering of acoustic guitar, violin and piano, all soaked in a plethora of original analogue synth mutations.

The tracks Scourging at the Pillar & Corridor were especially written for multimedia Easter worship events at Trent Vineyard Church, Nottingham, while "Boat Song" was an unused commission for a yacht-racing documentary.

Digital album includes both discs of material (Brainwaves disc = Tracks 1-13; Brain Noodles disc = Tracks 14-25: remixes and lead guitar backing tracks), all album artwork plus one additional bonus backing track.

Tunes created in Nottingham (UK) Jan-2007 to sometime-2010.
